Storytelling - Fundraising Campaign Landing Page

For each campaign, I created a unique landing page to share information about InterAct, as well as the donation options.

Storytelling - Social Media Toolkits for Others

I provided several social media toolkits to assist the Board, as well as the InterAct staff to share within their social media platforms. This toolkit included information related to InterAct, its services, specific messaging related to the campaign it was intended for, and examples of posts to share - visuals and copy.

Storytelling - Monthly Newsletter

Reaching over 7,000 subscribers monthly, the InterAct newsletter was resurrected with my arrival to InterAct in October 2023. Each newsletter features a letter from the Executive Director (written by me), partner features, supporter mentions, information about the community, and InterAct's services. If applicable, there is donation information specific to the campaign in progress.

Storytelling - Community Emails

In addition to the newsletter, emails are sent as needed and for the most part, relate to a campaign. A good example is #GivingTuesday, held each fall, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

Storytelling - The Interview

This is an example of providing context to what fundraising provided for Barbells for Boobs - support. Here I had written a blog post and then created a corresponding social media post highlighting the accomplishments of an athlete. I interviewed the athlete and used a photo provided by an in-house photographer.

Storytelling - Sometimes a photo says it all.

This image captured the unity of people from many different organizations all coming together to support one another. They were all working towards the same goal - health and ensuring everyone has access to it.

Ghostwriting

Knowing how to share someone else's internal thoughts and ideas via an external opportunity is challenging. Being the voice for someone else should not be taken lightly. It is an important perspective, knowing the credit goes to someone else, but because of my words and messaging, that someone and that brand flourish.

The Brand

How to share the stories of people who have gone through hell and back and who have overcome obstacles outside of their control is unlike a "normal" company message. Taking the good out of the bad to support how an organization thrives is important.

Knowledge and Education

Promoting a product is also about educating the public and providing value for what they are purchasing or supporting. Additionally, showing the faces behind the mission allows for connection and relatability.

Six newsletters were created, one for each month. The focus was the share content related to supporting the students, sharing educational and awareness aspects of the program, and a letter from the Executive Director, which was written by me, and approved by the ED.
